The Santa Fe Run Around

Santa Fe's annual May road race starting and finishing on the Plaza, organized by the Santa Fe Striders each year since 1979. In its 40th year the Run Around is Santa Fe's oldest road race.

The race benefits the local chapter of Girls on the Run, an education and health program for the young women of Santa Fe.

Both the 5K and 10K courses head east from the Plaza along Alameda and Canyon Roads before making the turn at Cristo Rey Catholic Church and returning along the river. 10K runners make the loop twice. Kids 1K follow with two laps around the Plaza.
